Modern Gravity Float Studio

The whole vibe of the studio was amazing - very calm and aesthetically pleasing. Matt was extremely welcoming and kind - he explained everything very well and even offered extra float time at no charge. I was worried about feeling claustrophobic, but I didn't feel that way at all. The tub felt spacious and I enjoyed the calming blue lights/starlights - you can turn them off to float in complete darkness though! I was worried about my anxiety, but I didn't have any at all while floating & the calming effect stayed afterwards. You have your own personal shower outside the tub & the spacious bathroom is nearby & very clean (they also provide multiple items like q-tips, feminine hygiene, etc - and there's another vanity area outside the bathroom). They also have a selection of tea to enjoy after in the lounge area. You do not feel rushed to do anything there & I felt they genuinely care about all their customers that come in. I will definitely be back!!

I have only ever had the BEST customer service with this company! Their float rooms and experience is by far above all others. But what I love even more is that, in this day and age, where businesses only see people as business transactions this business always sees a person for a person. Their capacity to be kind and accommodating has been beyond impressive and is ever so appreciated. Thank you Modern Gravity for always making the experience enjoyable and leading by example what this world needs more of.

From the moment I entered the studio I could already begin to feel my stress ebb away. After settling into my assigned tank and allowing myself to relax, I felt the session was over far too soon. I wanted it to last forever! If you have a need to relax once, or on a regular basis ... or have joints & muscles sore from work ... a float session (or 2 or 5 or more) at Modern Gravity is EXACTLY what you need! The folks at Modern Gravity have created an amazingly stress free environment, welcoming of everyone, and one that encourages you to take full advantage of the "me time" that everyone deserves to have. Be good to yourself, be good to your body, be good to your mind ... go float yourself. ;)

Just did a float at Modern Gravity this morning and it was great! I liked this place much better than another place I went to a few years ago as the set up and getting in and out of the tank was much better/easier here. The door to the tank opens sideways not up and down. Once inside it is very spacious and the ceiling to the tank is nice and high so you don't feel like you're in a coffin. You can even have stars on the ceiling if you want. The controls to the lights are easy to manage inside the tank and I found the water temp to be perfect! The rainshower before and after the float was pleasant as well and the shampoo/conditioner/body wash seemed to be a good quality. There is even a Dyson hair dryer for use afterwards. If you go at the beginning or end of the day they let you bump up your float to 1.5 hours at no extra charge. All in all, a great experience!

I've been to a few different float studios before, and Modern Gravity is by far the best. Everything was extremely clean and organized. There were touch screen pads with headphones as you enter that let you watch a brief video on how to float. The do's and don'ts. Love how the float tanks almost seemed to be a room to themselves. Also, I loved the area with the Dyson hairblade, almost burnt my beard off. Can't believe how fast it dried. Can't forget about the after float tea area, nice added touch, and great selection.
