Peace of Mind Massage Therapy Centre - Panorama Hills

I recently booked a 75minute session with Danielle, but was left disappointed after my appointment was cut short to 60minutes. At the beginning of the session when we went over preferences for the massage, I expressed that I was looking to relax and that I preferred to be in 'face down' position for the entire 75minutes. I personally find this to be less distracting and I have always requested this at other places with my bi-weekly massages with zero issues. Danielle quickly mentioned it wasn't good for me and that there were 'not enough areas' to do in that position for the full 75minutes. I was surprised and caught off guard because this is the first time a therapist has rejected my preference on how I want to be massaged. Almost all other places lets you customize YOUR massage based on what you need, which areas you want worked on and what works for your body. Based on how our session started, I felt Danielle was inexperienced especially since she spent a good 10minutes at the start doing glute decompressions...which was not really what I had asked for. Overall a disappointing experience, especially based on the reviews. It was not relaxing for me and I won't be returning. 2 stars given due to the friendly and helpful receptionist at the front desk!

Charlene was great; really knowledgeable with anatomy and trigger point release. I asked for deep tissue and the pressure was immediately perfect, and she did check in to make sure I was okay. Place is professional and clean, only FYI is that they don’t direct bill.

I have been a client at peace of mind for several years now and have spent many sessions with Ken for acupuncture. I swear the man is a wizard! I cannot begin to tell you how his practice relieves my stress and brings such calm when I visit. My acupuncture sessions are something that I so look forward to. The healing touch and the genuine warmth always put me into a peaceful state. My body always thanks me for making these appointments. Thank you, Ken for being amazing at your craft!

Danielle is SO SO good at her job. So young and already very talented at what she does. I look forward to seeing her every week. She’s been helping me immensely with an injury. Highly recommend this lady.
