I can’t say enough positive things about Mahogany Physio and Massage. I’ve visited both for my own care and with my children who play competitive sports. Every visit has been excellent. The front desk reception is always friendly, welcoming, and goes above and beyond, once even arranging a same-day appointment for my son. The physiotherapists are professional, skilled, and provide noticeable relief right away. We truly appreciate the care we receive.

I took my son in for his first physiotherapy appointment and we had an excellent experience. The team was warm, patient, and made him feel completely comfortable right from the start. They were thorough in their assessment, explained everything clearly, and carried themselves with a high level of professionalism. I’m really impressed with the care we received. Highly recommend!

I’ve had such a great experience with Mahogany Physio. The entire team is excellent—knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring. The front staff are always polite and welcoming, and they consistently do their best to squeeze me in whenever they can, which I really appreciate. Everyone here is personable and easy to work with, making each visit smooth and comfortable. I highly recommend Mahogany Physio to anyone looking for outstanding care and a team that truly goes above and beyond.

I recently worked with Jillian Ball for treatment on my knee, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better physiotherapist. From the very first appointment, she made me feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. Jillian is not only incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, but also a truly wonderful human being, kind, patient, and attentive to every concern.

First of all, I want to sincerely apologize to Ilyn for having to write this review on the day she provided me service. I do acknowledge that she did a 5-star job with the massage and I have no complaints at all regarding that. Thank you, Ilyn. Well, I had a traumatic experience today at Mahogany Physiotherapy and Massage. My family has used this massage place for a while now and we’ve never had any issues with insurance or billing. Note that we have 2 active insurances on file. I was at this site last week on Wednesday Nov 19 for a massage, and while waiting to be called in, I overheard the receptionist telling a client who wanted to book another appointment that the available massage therapist was not yet approved by insurance and so he’d have to pay out of pocket or have his credit card put on hold. The client declined and opted not to book the appointment because he didn’t want either of those options. After my own appointment that day, I booked another appt but was not given the same information that the other client got. I was not pre-informed that I would have to pay out of pocket for the service or have my card held because the therapist was not yet recognized by insurance. I had tried to book with the therapist I just had a session with, but there was no availability. In fact, I remember asking whether the new therapist they were booking me with was great, and they said she was amazing (again, omitting any info about her not being approved by insurance yet). Well, today Nov 25, after I had my massage done, I came to the front desk and booked another appointment for next week with the same therapist. Right after, the receptionist goes “your insurance doesn’t recognize the therapist yet so you’d have to pay for today’s service out of pocket or have your credit card held, just in case”. Of course I didn’t understand why I didn’t get the same opportunity to either agree to pay out of pocket or decline and book with another therapist who could be direct-billed like I had been doing at this place for months without issues. If I had been pre-informed, I would have declined and booked with a different therapist because I’ve had the experience of paying out of pocket and it took several months and countless backs and forths before my insurance would reimburse me for someone who they “didn’t recognize yet”. I knew I’d never want to go through that situation again. Long story short, you guys failed to provide me with information to drive my consent, yet you humiliated me for asking questions to understand the aftermath of your mistake, and on top of that you let another client who didn’t understand what was going on to harass me at your clinic without caring to explain to him that it was your mistake and not mine. The guy kept raising his voice at me and was saying “you want them to believe you in good faith that your insurance will pay? You’ve received the service and now you don’t want to pay for it? Your insurance paid in the past does not mean they’ll pay again. Pay for the service you received and stop wasting their time!” The receptionist had earlier admitted that it was their mistake and had told me to go and that she’d speak to the manager about it, only to make a 180° switch as soon as the other client jumped in and started harassing me. Thank you guys for the undue trauma and humiliation today and for causing me to cry my eyes out in my car. I’ve never in my life felt discriminated against because of race, but I must confess that this experience has had me wondering seriously…
